Team Lauzon Autosport's driver Patrick Michaud took the third place overall in the Quebec Super Production Challenge Series at the wheel of his Golf GTI.
Patrick, who is also an employee of Porsche Lauzon in Laval, earned a total of 801 points during the season, which ended on October 14 at the ICAR Circuit in Mirabel.
The Ste-Rose driver, who is also financially supported by the Groupe Lauzon's Volkswagen dealerships, VW Lauzon St-Eustache and VW Lauzon Blainville, is very grateful to his sponsors last season.
"I am now working for Porsche Lauzon, so I am fortunate to have the Groupe Lauzon to help me financially," he said in an interview with the journalist of Courrier de Laval.
Neophyte driving a German car and on this racing circuit, Patrick quickly adapted and he already knows where he will put his energy during the off season: "All season, I had to get used to the (German) product and, in addition, it was a challenge for me because I did not really know the circuits.
This year, I had problems with my brakes, so I will take the opportunity to change the system now that the regulations have been changed, "he concluded.
